high idle

Hi when the high idle is on about 1100 rpm the truck sounds like it is flucuating in rpm. If I bump the idle up to 1300 the truck sounds good through the exhaust. Has anyone had the same sounds at 1100 rpm? THANKS

Yes, my idle got pretty rough all the way around. I took it off and put on my Superchips back on. It is slow, but it does runs smoother. I will probably reinstall the Diablo again soon because I miss the power.

By the sounds of it Im going to have to deal with the rough idle,its getting colder in new york thanks

MINE TOO, It seems to smooth off when I use the cruise control idle control(1400).Un-installed it and it went away,took it to the dealer and they said it was all good.I will get over it to get the extra power..

You may want to check ou the #1 diesel for winter post. I have done some checking with these rough idle issues.

I had a rough idol when in extreme tune , but I tuned it back to performance and it seems much smoother running on idol now.
