Changing parameters after tune is loaded
Why after loading my custom tune (or any tune) when I go back in to modify the transmission options are gone? I have to load my stock tune first then go to load the tune again in order to get the tranny stuff back?

RE: Changing parameters after tune is loaded
Sounds like you are onlyloading a custom PCM tune, and not a TCM tune?

no, I am loading a custom PCM tune and choosing the "perf. Trans tune" but when I go back in afterwards the trans stuff is gone?

Did you try modify canned tune option? if you do that you can modify alot of options in there.

RE: Changing parameters after tune is loaded
I can no longer use a canned tune. I have to use the "custom tune" from procharger. I am not sure why it does this, but its really annoying anytime I want to cahnge a tranny setting, I have to load the stock tune, then re-load the custom tune......

Ya,right.Evidently not. When are you guy's going to really fix this?No telling what it's causing to happen with the tool not seeing a tcm calid.mikel wrote:This is fixed in 9r09.
Butch the way to make tcm option's to show up on mine,is go to show calid before you load custom tune or makeing any adjustment's.Making the tool look for a tcm calid (that it's not seeing) make's the tool show tcm option's.Post up if this work's for you so other't can do this to get there tool to work like it should.

try updating to Crom 9r12.butch1581 wrote:it didnt work for me... This is lame
TooCool's trick has worked for me and a few others with '05's & '06's.
to add some detail to what TooCool said:
plug Predator into truck. on main screen, select "daignostics" then select "show calibration #" and it should show both your PCM calibration # and TCM calibration #.
if this process does not show your TCM calibration #, your tuner is not communicating properly with your TCM and you need to call Diablo's tech support.
if it shows your TCM calibration#, you should be able to make changes to the TCM tune.

Re: RE: Changing parameters after tune is loaded
have you considered getting a custom TCM tune too? I can write you a pretty good TCM tune.butch1581 wrote:I can no longer use a canned tune. I have to use the "custom tune" from procharger. RE: Re: RE: Changing parameters after tune is loaded
I do want to get a custom TCM and PCM tune, but everyone I have contacted says I need access to a dyno or need to bring the truck in. I think I sent PMs back and forth wit you about this too. You just do TCM tune right? How much to get this thing dialed in? I really want a towing tune and an everyday perf. tune to work with my supercharger.
