Help please:
Is there a PID for reading the Fuel pressure comming into the cp3 pump?
I have installed a AirDog lift pump and do not know what fuel pressure it is putting out. My Glowshift gauge is pegged at max and I do not believe it is working properly. Need to read the input fuel pressure from my trinity.
Reading Fuel pressure

Re: Reading Fuel pressure
I would like to know the same thing to so I don't have to get a fuel pressure gauge. I know that the Quadzilla Adrenaline (according to their website) is able to read normal fuel pressure sustained by the lift pump, but I don't know what signal it is picking up. There has to be a PID, I just don't know which one.fixmedaily wrote:Help please:

I believe the PID for HFP is the HPCR.....reads in MPa. 168MPa=27k PSI

ithere is a "fuel pressure" pid that reads up to 27k. But that is rail pressure, not fuel pressureCumminsDemon wrote:I believe the PID for HFP is the HPCR.....reads in MPa. 168MPa=27k PSI

if rail pressure reads in kpa, click on it in the logging menu, choose change display units, choose PSI, then save the layout.

You mean mpa.
That the rail pressure is read in factory and you cannot change it to psi! I tried and it said that wasn't any other options. It would be great to have in psi so you don't have to multiply your mpa reading by 145 every time.

correct.
Problem with displaying it in psi is the values are too large to fit onthe gauges...

Not sure if your truck is different, but mine reads rail pressure in psi. It was under the HPCR fuel pressure PID.danny3535 wrote:mikel wrote:if rail pressure reads in kpa, click on it in the logging menu, choose change display units, choose PSI, then save the layout.
