Jeep Tire Size - Fixing the issue or Not?

Post by Flying2Fire »

I know I am in the same boat as most Jeep owners,

When is Diablo planning on fixing the issue with the tire sizes on Jeeps?

The primary reason I bought the tuner was to adjust the tire size, due to mods to the driveline I have made, I need a timeline, driving over the speed limits is starting to cost me.

I feel your pain. I have a 2010 WK with 265/70R17. Although I understand if they don't have the vehicles in their shop to test it make it difficult.

Mike, This is the same jeep you sent the file to TJ at Trick Pro to fix the tire issue, The file you sent was off 3 MPH at 40MPH and 6 at 70, but it was a lot closer than anything the Handheld unit did (which was nothing to the speedometer - but did change the tachometer)

It makes no sense when you say it changed the tach but not the speedo, please explain.

Ignore the Speedo comment.

Adjusting the tire size (Either 87 or 93 Octane tunes) does not adjust the MPH, as verified by two GPS Units, and three speeding tickets.
