NOT STARTING!!!! 00' FORD LIGHTINIG

SO I JUST BOUGHT A DELTA CHIP FOR MY 2000 FORD LIGHTNING , IM NOT SURE IF ITS NEW OR USED LOOKS NEW.. THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM SAID HE ORDERD IT FOR HIS 2000 LIGHTNING AND INSTALLED IT AND IT WASNT RUNNING RIGHT SO HE SENT IT BACK TO DIABLOSPORT AND THEY SENT HIM A NEW ONE WICH IS THE ONE HE SOLD ME AND HE SAID HE NEVER INSTALLED IT. SO I FALLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT CAME WITH IT AND THE TRUCK WILL NOT TURN ON, THE THIFT LIGHT IS BLINKING I READ ON THE INSTRUCTION THAT IF ITS BLINKING CHECK FOR RESIDUE OR A BAD CONNECTION BUT THE CONNECTION IS CLEAN, SO IDK WHAT TO DO NEXT?????? THE CHIP NUMBER IS CXN1STSS 12 DEC. 2001 #001

It sounds like the chip weas burned for an entirely different calibration than you have, they do not always swap from vehicle to vehicle.

make sure to remove the keys from the ignition and remove the chip.
it would need to be reflashed for your truck, but the delta chips are old, and there are few dealers who still flash them.
