2004 Sierra U7193 PE setting....

Post by vortecz71wv »

My U7193 has the latest software updates.

Do I have the option of chaning my power enrichment or should I adjust my WOT fueling instead?

I have the Injector Slope set at -8 and LTFT running at -1.5 right now.

Thanks!

WOT fueling is power enrichment on that tool...

yes??? my Spidey senses were tinglin'...

without a wideband, no real way to tell what your AFR is at during WOT... BUT, since you went -8% on the slope, so now it's spraying some more fuel, you can go about -3% or -4% on the WOT fueling settings and be ok...

it makes changes to wide-spread rpm ranges though... for better, more detailed adjustments, you'd do yourself good by getting a custom tune done for it... the adjustments can be done more precisely, not broad ranges... plus, with a good CMR custom tuner (like myself) that has done hundreds of these vehicles, they'll know where the settings should be that the truck will like and still be safe...

LOL, thanks man! I adjusted the PE setting to -3 and drove home from work last night and its about 15 miles and then back here today....thank God its my Friday then off to Hatfield and McCoy trails to do some serious muddin and trail rides on the bikes....

But I stopped about a mile from our gate and stepped into it and she came off and pulled harder and my fuel trims looked much better.

As for the custom tune, I promise you....as soon as I get this trip over with and some other things taken care of its a go for you bud! Thanks!
