srt8 updates when to update

i am curious should you update everytime you see a new revision like you would in say a computer or something or should you leave it alone

just dont want to screw something up

Good question, I would like to know too? Everything works good in my install and I am wondering what to do?

These new revision have changes to the tunes for better throttle response, so if you want that, you need to update.
Some updates may only pertain to a specific year or make, and if so we keep a short revision history on the downloads page that will let you know what has changed.

Mike, any thoughts about keeping a document that shows the changes in more detail? Kind of like a release notes you get when new software updates.

For example: "Test 16a (current)(Fix for quick adjust issues in r16, except autostick disable in 07srt8)"

The Q/A parameters were not working for some people with r16. r16a fixed those Q/A parameters except for autostick disable for us '07 SRT8 guys (I'm still waiting to hear what's up with r17 which should fix that).

If you are running r16 and have no problems, you don't need r16a.

If you are running r14 or r15, you should "upgrade" to r16. The throttle response is awesome.
