u7194 Won't power up

u7194, 9r21c, 2007 Denali XL

I went to run a datalog the other day. When I plugged the predator into the diagnostic port it did not power up. I took it in the house and plugged it into the AC adapter, it powered right up. I then went back to the truck and plugged it in... wouldn't power up. Battery and charging system is fine. Do you think this is a problem with the Predator or my diagnostic port? Thanks in advance.

check your fuses... cig ligher fuse and aux. power port fuses... the obd connector is on the same circuit, so if one of those fuses is blown, the obd port won't have power either....

also, you can plug it in to another vehicle's obd port and see if it powers up...

Thank you sir. It was the fuse. I looked at them before, but was looking for an "aux pwr" fuse. I didn't think that they still called them "cigarette lighters", but they do. It was Fuse #53 under the hood. Thanks again.
