2010 silverado

just purchased a new u7194 revision v.9r18 my truck is a 2010 silverado 4wd 5.3 afm/dod #3 motor with 6 speed transmission. will i need to update the current v.9r18 for my truck for tuning or more options or will this work properly. thank you

no need to update it if it's working correctly...

there are no new tunes.. no changes.. etc... the later/newer revisions are just to add support for newer vehicles and engine calibration ID's...

installed the 87 tune and turned off afm/dod.runs much better -but 3-4 trans shift hessitatates and feels likes slipping then a harder shift under mild to harder accelleration=any advice

do a data log, see where your numbers are at for your average long term fuel trims and get your injector slope adjusted accordingly....

i see that 9r22 is new update.any benefits over the 9r18 version i already have installed.dod has been turned off and 87 tune has been installed. runs great but 1 - 2 shift on 6speed trans hessitates badly and feel like slipping then shift hard on wot

no... update was to add support for additional calibration ID's that weren't supported before... no tune changes...
