Glad to hear I am not the only one this happened to! I was worried that my JK was a 'late Friday afternoon' build or something! LOLLeHemi wrote:Same write failed here with 9t12b. It will install with no mods but when I try to modify I get write failed and install original backup. so now I am back to stock.
Mike, is this going to be addressed? I don't want to nag you - but I do want to add feedback to help correct an obvious problem. I read over on the JK-Owners page that you are aware that the TPMS must still be in the wheels to NOT trigger the warning light - but I never saw that posted over here. I was under the impression that I could set the threshold to ZERO, and basically make the Jeep computer disregard the TPMS all together. Oh well ... please let me know if you'd like me to test any other test programs, or feel free to contact me for further info.

For now, dont adjust quick adjust items during the tune loading process, change them before or after you load the tune, then go back and adjust the QA items by themselves.

Yea ... that's exactly what I did. After discovering that loading the zero tire pressure and tire size didn't seem to work so well loading it INTO the program ... I did just as you suggested and loaded it by using the Quick Adjust AFTER the tune was installed. It loaded and all appeared to be fine, but never worked.
Mike, do you think there's a way to disable the Jeep computer from even recognizing or looking for the tire pressure sensors? I run two sets of tires/wheels and the summer ones don't have any sensors at all. That would be GREAT if you guys could disable the whole TPMS. Again, I offer my help and my Jeep for assistance!

OK guys, here's the fix, this should allow you to make any QA changes while loading the tune with no wirte failed errors.
Thanks

What did you guys do to the tranny as far as the rams go. I have an 04 with transgo shiftkit and since I loaded 9t12b my tranny feels really soft when it shifts. It used to chirp the tires going into 2nd now it feels like it is slipping real bad. Can you let me know whats going on or can i go back to 9r09 like I had before. And as for white lightning wanting 3-4 and 4-5 us 03 and 04 guys have been waiting for any kind of trans adjust and still havent got it. I got rid of my SC cause the DSP was more adjustable and was supposed to be getting trans adj. Wishing now that i would have kept it.

my suggestion would be go back to 9r09 if it felt better on your truck.
did you try 9r11? it should have the same tuning as 9r09. I have compared 9r09 and 9r11 93 octane canned tune last tune written files innCMR and they are identical on my '05.
actually, I would like to see Diablo do full control of all gears trans tuning for '04's too. '03's are probably a lost cause due to the messed up PCM's they have.akatoad wrote:And as for white lightning wanting 3-4 and 4-5 us 03 and 04 guys have been waiting for any kind of trans adjust and still havent got it. full trans control for '04 Rams is possible, Superchips has proven it with their advanced trans program.
I would like to see as many '04- '06 Ram owners with Diablo as possible band together and let Diablo know that we would like shift control of all 5 gears. if 100 of us posted up, Mikel couldn't say there are only 3 or 4 of us who want this.
Hey guys, i know i had this problem a little while back and Mike Levy had helped me with, but when i load a tune i have to disconnect the negative battery cable because the transmission doesnot shift and wont go into lock up. (this happens every time) and recently i had tried going in and changing the shift pressures and it said write failed and it returned to stock. i was wondering if this update will fix this issue? and has anyone else had this problem?
