I received trouble code U0101 as well after only performing quick adjust to the TCM.
I purchased device never having had a trouble code. Loaded the 93 perf tune and no errors at all.
I installed a 180 thermostat CAI and catch can. Then installed the 93 CAI perf tune. I tried adjusting some of the TCM settings but it would bounce off the Rev limiter from 1st to 2nd. I read reasons why mentioning the shift point was too close to the rev max. But I got that error as a result too. I had also switched it the mode to "increased" and also increased the Rev Limiter. The code was generated shortly after this flash was loaded but light did not come on. It was not seen till I connected the tuner and looked for diagnostic codes and there it was.
So I cleared the tune and reset everything including the trouble code and loaded the 91 CAI Perf tune. It drove fine but got almost as warm as the stock thermostat.
I went into quick adjust to perform an action and boom the code was back without even starting the engine and the dash engine light came on this time and stayed on while driving to the corner store. It did not come on at all the first time.
I was using the CROM in the device that came with it 9r29 dated in June 2011. There is not a newer version available to download as it is only a month old since my purchase in July.
I just went back in and cleared all settings on the 93 CAI Perf tune and loaded it again. The only settings I adjusted this time are the fan temp sensor settings. Lowering each 23 degrees below the factory temp. As the Jet 180 degree thermostat is 23 degrees cooler than the factory 203 degree thermostat.
Is there something I could have done to cause that code? I will be driving it again tomorrow and capture some data to examine.
Any advice? 2010 Challenger R/T 5.7L
