For the extreme tune, it is recommended.
not necessary for the tow and economy/perf tunes.

I am running the new tune and it works good. I was wondering if there is room for improvement for fuel economy and will the 65 hp tune give me the best fuel economy? I just want more mpg and do not care about power. Anyways the tunner works good and I am happy I bought it.

Changed to latest tune 9r14 yesterday and drove 268 miles last night at 65-72 MPH (most of the time), averaged 20 MPG, with extreme tune on a 2003 6.0L F250, Calid VXAP1N6. EGT reached a max of 1200 when punched to 95, and boost was variable, once went to 40 psi on a small uphill grade, mostof the time with WOT reaches 35-37psi. Highway response is GREAT.
One issue - engine seems to starve for fuel at times, at about half throttle from about 40MPH, and WOT at 70-95 MPH.

Played with the truck a little today and it seems to starve for fuel when peddle pushed enough to force a downshift, speed does not seem matter.
No downshift and all is steady, smooth and strong. :D

I have a completely stock 2004 f-250 6.0L with the icp on the oil rail. I will be getting a 4 in turbo back exhaust system but have not got it yet.

Been running the new 100 Hp tune, and it is better than before but fuel mileage is just as bad City 11.2 hwy 14.1. The 40 and 65 Hp tunes get 14 on both the hwy and city plus my truck feels stronger on the factory tune then any of these two tunes. Im looking for a good milage tune dont care about the hp gains. My tune from ford beats anything you all have put out for mileage so far with my truck, without the programmer I get 16.2 on the dash and 16.3, when I calculate it city driving in Atlanta and 18 to 18.2 hwy. I bought the programmer thinking I could turn off the check engine light for my EGR code but thats not an option so far very disappointed in this programmer.

2006 F250 6.0
Headstuds
Egr delete
Cold air intake
Turbo back exhaust 4"
Calid is VXCF9H7

If there is a tune you can send me too turn off the EGR light that would be great, and if you have a fuel mileage tune to throw in with it would be better.
