2006 Dodge Ram Hemi Newbie

Post by CanadianHemi »

Hello I am new here and new to the world of programming. However I have spent alot of time reading and searching the forums to find information about making power using your product and I now have a couple questions of my own.

My first question is how much is safe to pull in a performance tune, I am a carpenter and use my truck for the most part in commuting however I do put tools and maybe a few scafold pieces in it from time to time do I need to switch to the two and haul tune for maybe 500 pounds worth of weight?

Secondly I have the 5.7L Hemi with mds I have not purchased the predator yet until I know that my truck will be safe. I am worried about the surge that many people get from the switch between mds and 8 cylinders, most of the posts I found were from over a year ago and I thought maybe the new downloads have corrected this?

Thanks so much my truck is for the most part stock with Magnaflow single in dual outs. I look forward to learning from everyone who takes the time to post!!

I just found another post saying that the new updates should have the surge fixed is that true?
