I have same problem, same year and engine

changed tire size, injector slope, DOD disable, cot disable, speed limiter 1 to 120 mph, left limiter 2 to 155 mph. Have tried turning them off also, no change.

I was asking if you had made any other changes to the tune when you installed it.

Please let us know if it's going to be possible to change tire size without error lights.

I'm going to try changing the aspect ratio back to 65, AND set the speed limiter 1 to 120 mph, see if that works. Will use a tire that's the same height as actual. They said something on some old threads about that number could throw it off.

I tried putting in 33", nope, 295/65/18 so both the 65 and rim size were the same as stock, nope. $600 tuner can't change tire size without lighting up the dash lol.

Through my GM parts guy, we did some research and TECHII (GM handheld computer) work. There is/was a generation ECMs that only allow a 10% (personally I don't think its even that much) size change of tires. GM will supply the dealers a code that will allow them to go to different sizes, but one specific size only. They do not supply them to the dealer for free, I believe he said it was close to $100. So most dealers won't do this, most customers won't do this either. When I change my tire size, the TECHII reads wo different speeds for the front and rear axles, something like 10mph difference, that is what causes the error. I live with the speedo error. I have GPS checked my speed so I know what speed I'm going, I'd rather have ABS than correct speed. I have been emailing 06montess and he's been working with Diablo, hoping that Diablo can come up with a work around these darn GM computers.
