1st to 2nd shift

I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 regular cab Z71 with a 5.3 liter with a 4L60E transmission and I have noticed when I install the 87 octane tune (revision 9r23) it feels like it shift's firm from 1st to 2nd gear under partial to half throttle as soon as I return the stock tune to the vehicle it shifts smooth. I know it has been said on the form that the U7194 Predator cannot at this moment adjust anything with the transmission but I was wondering if maybe something with the torque management has been changed in the canned tunes or anything else that could effect how it shifts. The transmission shifting a little firmer from 1st to 2nd is not a problem I just wanted to make sure that it is normal and is not causing and potential damage to the transmission? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes, it is normal... there is a table on the engine side of the tune that does affect how it shifts... and that table is adjusted in the diablo tunes... so that it does shift firmer...

if it's too hard for you, it can be tweaked in a custom tune to make it not so hard...
