i can't really answer your question but it might have something to do with your displacement on demand. but i am curious about how much the diablo did for your camaro. my dad has the l99 too but its all stock and i think he should get a predator but he is worried about his warranty.

Thanks. I have the DoD diasbled. I couldn't imagine driving the L99 with the AFM engaged. It drove me crazy.
Warranty is a valid concern. Do only what you, or your Dad, is comfortable with.

Have you dialed in your LTFT?coltabilly wrote:Help. I get a hestitation at low speeds when getting back on the throttle. Gets worse as it warms up...

@Marble, Throttle response, pull, shift all improved with 9r21 firmware and tuned injector slope (LTFT)! Completely worth the cash! As far as warranty, if you reinstall the factory tune b4 sending it off to the dealer, I don't think they'll ever know you tuned it...

No, just disabled the DoD.

First, I'm assuming you're using the proper grade of good fuel for the tune you installed...and have driven in that tune for 100Mi or so.coltabilly wrote:No, just disabled the DoD.
That said, with the CAI and cat-back you probably have your fuel trims a bit messed up..not that they come set from the factory for your Alt/humid./Temp anyway.
You should read this post:
http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?na ... opic&t=917
Considering that you changed the airflow to the engine, you need to get your fueling right. That may very well solve the problem you're seeing. If you don't have the computer interface stuff, have a friend ride along and watch the ltft bank 1 and 2 while you cruise @1800 RPM (about 70 on level-ish highway in our car) the numbers should be pretty stable while cruising (it's not an exact science). Try to do the logs at about the same temperature and humidity and drive your adjustments in for 50 miles or so before logging again.
Do a log and post up your results (and a log if you have the interface) and someone will verify your adjustments if you like...

Thanks Rally2SS! I'll give that a try this weekend.
Oh yea, you think it's worth going to R23? Have R22 loaded now.

OH wait! Forgot about the CAI, LOL! If it was really in the 90's outside when u logged, then go ahead with the -6...
I know what you mean about time, I'm still trying to get to the track to get some baselines before I hit up LEW for a custom...
I'm gonna leave 'er stock, i think, so we can really see what gains your bolt-ons make!
