need a 2012 GT

Post by mikel »

Anyone local to us with a 2012 GT that would be willing to let us use it for a day to do some flash testing would receive a FREE Trinity tuner in return for letting us use it.

Let me know!!

Thanks

Probably not close to you, but you can have the car for a week if we get a Trinity and software...
We just purchased a 2012 5.0 and are currently gathering parts to covert to a cobra Jet for NHRA stock. We are experienced n/a carb. folks and are ready to race a f/i car.

I have scoured your site and the internet for how to build our own custom tune. Obviously we are fairly new to this combo. We have friends that race the Big Stuff and FAST on their LS and Lt1 cars. The Ford computer is the only one that will allow use of the variable valve timing. So Trinity is all I can find that will do this? Yes? Lets talk.

They'll give you a Trinity, but I wouldn't bet on the software. Thats $2500 package.

Yeah, the software as mentioned is not cheap, as its set up as an unlimited dealer package.
There are some VCT adjustments available right in the trinity, but to be honest, you really need a few years of Ford tuning experience to make sense out of whats going on in these PCMs...

So,
If I purchase from American Muscle- and they say "free tunes for life", does that mean I can call them, give them the parameters of what I want set at each RPM (spark, a/f, cam timing, etc) then, "that" is free tunes for life?

I am not interested in "running to the local dyno" to pay for something every time I want to change my timing or adjust a/f at a specific RPM. Will the user options allow me to do this (and more)? The explanation on the website of what is actually does is not very detailed. Does the Trinity come with a PC program that lets me see a graph of the setting and allow me to fill in a box with what I want each one to be?
Thanks.
