I have an '08 Police Interceptor (Hemi Charger). I think it's a whole lot like a 5.7 R/T, but am curious what the differences are in the software. For instance, I'm pretty sure max speed is just turned off; but I wonder what else is different.
I have a Predator, and have installed the 91 Octane Performance Tune. The original Police tune is saved as my backup, and I've got it saved on the computer as a .drg file. But, I've got no way to examine it and/or compare it to somebody else's R/T tune. Apparently, I need the expensive dealer software to do that.
I'm wondering if anybody with the software (and maybe an R/T tune to compare to) would like to take a look at it, and tell me what they find. Heck, looks like I might be able to just attach the file here...

RE: Have Police tune; curious what
I am curious, is it quicker with the DS tune or not?

Ill be watching this thread. I'd love to know what the difference is between the police tune, the stock Dodge tune, and the 91 Tune. I'm just guessing, but I'd assume the police tune is no joke.

Throttle response seems more linear with the Diablosport tune... seat of the pants says just a little quicker. Not feeling a huge difference in the top end. Could be the old placebo effect
Don't have dyno or drag strip times to compare apples to apples. Got a CAI on order, hopefully the Predator will help me take full advantage of it.

Thanks Mike- I wondered if that might be the case. Now we know!

I agree with Mike, is the same less for the top speed that is a little higer but still under the 150mph mark.
