2008 Ranger XL 2.3L auto

My 2008 Ranger has always had a lot of vibration while it's idling in gear.

I was wondering if anyone noticed their Ranger idling smoother after using the 7157 tuner and 87 performance tune?

There was a Ford TSB for 2.3's and the automatic for vibration, that consisted of a ford tune and an exhaust hanger with some extra mass.
Sorry, can't help with the Predator 87 tune, I've been waiting 7 months for an update for the 2010 Rangers.

Do you have anymore info about that TSB? If the Diablo tune doesn't fix my problem then I'll take it into the dealer.

I read about the TSB for the 2.3 autos on a ranger forum, my truck is a 2.3 manual, doesn't seem to vibrate much.

If you are keeping the stock exhaust, by all means go to a Ford dealer and get them to do the TSB, it's free, you get the special exhaust dampner that the stock exhaust really needs. I got fed up with my idle, steering wheel shake, I ripped off the exhaust and put a Dynomax cat back on it, which helped about 50%, now the tuner pretty well got rid of it completely.

The vehicle isn't under warranty anymore, and the dealer said that i'd have to pay for any TSB unless it's a recall. I would like to get the new exhaust hanger, even if I have to pay for it, so would you tell me where you found that TSB information. The dealer ran my VIN and couldn't find any TSB's that said they should change the exhaust hanger.
