lower them all by 20*.

Not to beat a dead horse....lower by 20*....different answer for Texas Summers? Hasn't been below 100 in a while, just want o be sure I don't burn out a fan motor. Thanks!

If you are lowering your thermostat by 20, then you should be lowering your fans by 20 regardless of the Air temperature.

Fan settings

I haven't found a 180 thermo that starts opening at 180 in my vehicle - they all open at 186 and operate at 188-190 best case..Per Chrysler tech. the radiator is only designed to keep the coolant at 100 above ambient anyway. Running in the 190's to low 200's is fine, unless you're racing and need to keep out of heat soak.
