What doe s the rev limiter in neutral and drive settings do?

they allow you to raise the rev limit when in drive or neutral...

i understand that, but what is the expected result if I raise them?

just that you'll be able to spin the motor that mush higher.

This may sound naive, but why would one need to raise park rev limit?
