looking forcustom tune

Post by muddyXLT »

new to the tuning thing. i finally got my predator hooked up to my laptop. Now the problem im having is this.... When i first got the tuner i didnt have any mods. I installed the 87 performance tune. When i go WOT it would shudder like it was lacking HP. So i bought the ROUSH intake and exhaust systems. It does the exact same thing. No improvements. I can deffinatly tell a differance with the mods. It wants to take off but when i go WOT or get up to about 65-70 mph it wants to shudder again and thats with the ROUSH tune installed in the predator. So for now i just have the stock tune installed and just modified the tire gear ratio.

i have on my truck the 5.4 with roush intake and exhaust. 315/75r17 tires and a front leveling kit.

Dont know if anyone else is having these problems, but i am looking for a tune that gives me more mpg plus having the power to back it up. If thats not possible just a tune for each. one for HP and then one for MPG and then i will run both and see which one i like most.
thanks
