Stack user manual?

Post by RAMnUTAH »

Hi, Is there an user manual for the 2003 u7130/puck stack combo? The manual I have is basicaly just for the predator & doesnt have much info.
Iam trying to understand what the best way to use the stack & what the actual gains are. From what I have gathered in this forum is as follows.
1. The puck & the predator can be used individually, but work better together using the stack tunes because they run smoother with less EGT's.
:?: (But do you lose some power from not running them seperately???)
:?: (160hp extreme + 90hp puck high=250hp vs. 200hp extreme stack tune)
2. There is a 5 to 10 sec. delay when switching the puck on the fly. This delay makes it easier on the engine.
:?: What are the gains for the following settings?
:?: tow stack= hi-100hp ?tq/ low-80hp ?tq/ off-60hp? 120tq?
:?: extreme stack= hi-200hp 400tq/ low-180hp ?tq/ off-160hp? 230tq?

:?: when switching the puck off when on a stack tune does it just turn off the puck or the predator also?? What are the effects?
:?: what happens if you run them seperately using the extreme tune(not stack) & switch the puck on or off?

I love this product so far but it would be nice to know what the different settings are & how it all works together. Thanks in advance.

The stacker tunes are detuned slightly for the puck to operate properly, so the power in the actual tune is about 20hp less than the non-stack tune. We found that the tune and puck stack produced a little less hp than with the puck by itself, it does produce the torque but the hp gains where about 30% less.
I would have to find some time to dig the results up from our records.
When turning Puck off when on stack tune will only turn the Puck off, the tune stays.
If you run the regular tunes with the puck you will get check engine lights for fuel pressure issues.
Hope that covered everything, it might be awhile to get the dyno charts.

Thanks for looking into this. I will be waiting for the specs.
When you turn off the puck while in extreme stack tune are you at 160hp (standard extreme) or 140hp (stack tune)?
Also, is there any performance issues running the stack tune with the puck off? or is it better to have it on all the time? For example daily driving puck off, & only flipping the puck on to really show off.

You will be making less than the regular non stack tune, about 140.
No issues with running the stack tune with the puck off.
