Used Predator

I have been watching a few of these models for a few days. is there anything i should be aware of while purchasing a used product?

i do realize that they have the ability to VIN lock, i am assuming this is the same thing as being in a "Locked" or "Unlocked" state?

Or should i just forget about buying them used? any info would be appreciated.

I would make sure that in the options menu, you go to last tune written and it says not married. Buy a new tool gives you 2 years warranty, buying used, you dont get that. So if your buying a tool for $200 buck or so, I would spend the extra to get piece of mind. Its up to you.

yeah... if you get it and it's locked, you will need to pay diablosport $130 to unlock/reset it...

marylandspeed.com sells 'em for only about $279... plus free shipping...

would be better going that route so you KNOW it's not locked, so you have a new tool, have a warranty, etc, as frankl mentioned...
