09 Challenger crom Issues

Issue:
Good afternoon I have been running crom 9r27 for two years, and for some reason I decided to update to the 9r29. Big mistake. It gave me a error on the tool. Now I retuned the tool to the 9r12 crom but I get errors trying to put the 9r18 or the 9r27 crom back into the tool. I tried to install my custom toon from Johan with the 9r12 crom, but I get a error when I try to write the toon to the car. It tells me I need to update the crom. I've tried many times to get to get the 9r27 crom back into the tool. Can you tell me what to do to fix this please? I have copy's of all the croms I have installed in the past, and I do not understand why they will not go back into the tool. Please help. Thank you.

did u return it stock before the update?

u can't use the same custom tune with different versions...

if you had 9r27, you can reload 9r27, what exactly happens when you try to load it to the tool?

Julan Yes I returned the stock tune to the car before I updated the tool. I was going to load a different custom tune into the car, and when I opened the downloader it told me that I needed to update, so I did. That was my mistake.

Mike the tool gives me the application is missing or corrupt status. I have every crom that I ever installed in the tool on hand. I have tried the r13, r17, and the r27 crom thru the manual loading instructions. The tool starts loading the bootlogger until it gets to writing packet 7747 of, what ever the file size is. like 9484. Then the tool give me a error Unable to store crom image on the tool. That is as far as it goes. Another thought. I don't know if it makes a difference, but the tools model number is a U9000
