'Incompatible Hardware - No serial flash found' Error

Post by Grisoman »

Got the subject error while updating to v7135 - v.9r27. I believe the prior version was 9r09. Cannot do anything else with my 7135 tuner. Please help.

[2010 Dodge Challenger 5.7 Hemi]

Thanks.

Have the same issue as the guy above. Got the error while updating to v7135 - v.9r28. I believe the prior version was 9r09. Cannot do anything else with my 7135 tuner. Please help.

You need the "l" CROM. Mike will send it to you Monday. I don't have it to send, though he should probably send it to me too so I have it available on the weekends.

I have a 2010 Challenger R/T 5.7 I did receive a file from Mike named u7135-9r28l.crom I used the DSDownload tool to update my u7135 and now I am getting a message saying "the application is missing or corrupt"
Any suggestions. I looked through the forum and found a few things about it but I didnt think my situation was the same. Ofcourse I might be an idiot to. LOL Thanks for the help in advanced.

Great news finally got it to work. Thanks for followup. Was wondering if there is a stock tune for 89octane. After I hooked up unit only say tunes for 91 and 93. With the price of gas I would like to keep costs down for right now. I saw an 89octane tune some where in forum. Is this something you can send me? By this afternoon I will have K&N CAI installed if that helps tweak things.
Thanks

I have the same problem with a 7135 Predator (ser # 002704) (purchased used) that I tried to update to the u9r29. Can you email me what ever Crom that I need to make it work with the u9r29. IIRC it had a crom that was 21I or 21L when I got it. Right now the only thing I can get it to load is the v9r12. I want to use it on a 2010 Jeep GC SRT8.

Thanks

Update: I found the v9r28l crom on the forum and was able to load it into my Predator successfully. Is this the most up to date crom for my tool or is there a more recent one?
Thanks

Here's 9r29l. A few guys have had issues with the 9r29 CROM though, so you may want to stick with 9r28l.
