whats it do when you advance and when you retard the timing?

should i go off the "knock retard" to get that set? if so where should it be set at?

all my ltft's are set at 0 or usually pretty damn close.
thanks

k, well, since your Predator can't save logs, you're going to have to monitor the Total Knock Spark Retard, AFR, and Spark Advance during a WOT run... have someone ride with ya so they can watch the screen and write down numbers.

if your normal driving average ltft's are already at 0 to -2, then your injector slope should be fine. if not, then you want to adjust your slope to get the ltft's at 0 to -2 first.

then monitor the Total Knock Spark Retard, AFR, and Spark Advance during a WOT run... you want your AFR to be around 12.5 to 12.8... if it's lower than that, you can add fuel to the PE rpm ranges.... if it's higher than that, take some fuel out.

then if you have no KR at WOT, then slowing add some timing, then do another run and see if you have any KR or not... if you do, set the spark advance back down to where it was, if not, then you can try to add a little more... it works in percentages, so 4% or 5% is roughly one degree of timing/spark advance.

on the AFR mine does not support it as AFR, is there anything else on there that would represent that otherwise?

uugghhhh... no AFR... how about Equivalence Ratio??? if not, then you have one of those older ones that doesn't have it at all...

well, you'll just have to monitor the Spark Advance, Total Knock Spark Retard, and Engine Speed... do a WOT run and see if you get any KR... if not, bump them all up the same amount, then do another monitored WOT run... if you get any KR in certain rpm ranges, make note of it and reduce the timing back down in that range.
