More Trans Control PLEASE!!!! 06 Hemi Ram

it isn't fair to keep putting us off either.

do you remember all the big promises you made on HTC, including trans control for '03's?? '03's being what they are, that is nigh impossible, but control of all 5 gears for '04- '06 is a reasonable request, and something you promised.

by adding 4 shift folders to the TCM of both '05 & '06 for a total of 8 folders between the 2 years, shift control for 4th & 5th could be available from CMR tuners for '05 & '06 Hemi Rams.

you don't need to create the complicated shift & TM control software that Superchips did to make this happen.

Thank You for posting here. Please try to talk others into posting in this thread too. The more that post, the more likely it is that Diablo will do this.

also, if a bunch more people post in this thread, Mikel won't be able to say I'm the only one who is interested in this anymore.

REALLY pisses me off, all the cool stuff I can do to Jay's trans that I can't do to my own cuz the '05 Ram TCM template is incomplete. same for '06.

if Diablo management would allow some time for this project, '04, '05 & '06 Rams could have the more complete trans control '07 & up Rams have.

Thank You for posting. I would like to see trans control for '04's too. preferably full shift control like '07 and up Rams have.

later Croms, starting about 9t09e, communicate with '04 TCM's enough to read the TCM calibration #.

Do you have a link to where your starting shift points are? I've been playing with this stuff for over a year and still can'y quite get it dialed in where I want it.

need-a cage's current tune is a bit different than his starting shifts. I turned his startint shifts into a custom TCM tune, and then made some further adjustment to his preference. CMR has more complete control of shift points than the Predator.

I can write you a custom trans tune with control of all 5 gears for your '08. shifts can be firmer if you like, and tow/haul shifts can be changed too. just did a trans tune for another '08 Ram with all those features, dude really likes it.

Hey White Lightning,
That would be awesome, I had a tune done by HHP which helped overall performance but did nothing for the tranny. I've installed a transgo HD shift kit and also have a sonnax line booster installed. What are we talking cost wise for you to modify this?

with my tune, Sonnax needs to come off. TransGo is a good mod, have it on my truck too.

is your HHP tune a Diablo CMR tune? if yes, I can just add trans stuff to your HHP engine tune.

cost for full 5 gear altered shifts in "D" with TM changes, line psi, & modified converter lock is:
$80.00
$20.00 extra for altered shifts in Tow/Haul.

converter is set to be locked more than stock, especially in 2nd. converter rarely locks in 2nd with stock tune, and not much in 3rd either.

I have 6 canned part throttle shift schedules:
1) 1,600 @ 0%, 1,800 @ 20% throttle
2) 1,800 @ 0%, 2,000 @ 20%
3) 2,000 @ 0%, 2,200 @ 20%
4) 1,800 @ 0%, 1,800 @ 20%
5) 2,000 @ 0%, 2,000 @ 20%
6) 2,200 @ 0%, 2,200 @ 20%

if you want other p/t shifts than the 6 canned tunes, that is extra.

WOT shift rpm's are your choice, for 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4.

yeah, it's a bummer. would be nice if progress was made while you were gone.

it was pretty cool when that one Crom pulled your TCM orig backup. for a short time, it looked like I could write you a trans tune, until CMR said "file not supported"

I will try to remember to PM you on HTC if '04 Rams do get trans support.
