Error: Unable to communicate with unit 1

I purchased this predator a while back and got this error when I tried to use it. The car was previously owned so I assumed the error was because I didn't have a factory tune or chip installed. Yesterday someone with an HP connected fine and said it was basically factory. So, I tried my Predator again since the HP basically verified the tune and that the port is functioning. What is up!!??

What error does it throw? And have you shut off the radio when you tried to flash it?

Well, it just became evident that I have the wrong model for my vehicle - damn. No wonder it never worked.
I was going to get the latest firmware and I am supposed to have a U7193!!
Now what, it is brand new - never used.

IS it possible to sell / exchange / return it or something - I need one for a 2004 corvette.
This one exceeded the 90 days to return it but it has never been used.

So, preferably I'd like to exchange or trade with minimal $$.

yeah man, a 7136 is for dodge vehicles...

where'd you buy it from??? you need to return/exchange it from where you bought it...

if you have gone past the return time frame, then you're only option is to sell it...

so, post it up on some dodge forums for sale... you should be able to get about $200 for it...
