I hope the tranny tune is as good as you say, because thats something I'm not really liking. It seems very reluctant to downshift, at least in regular drive. Haven't tried Sport mode yet.

I did get the Recaros. They came with the Black Diamond package. No inserts. They're all "Ebony".

Only "Mustard" I have is the calipers.

Yeah, sport mode opens up a WHOLE new set of tranny tables.
You can get nuts in the tune and make the trans act totally different in every mode.

IMO, his tune is as simple as possible while making the trans act exactly like it should. We have it in about 8-10 cars down here now, and they all love it, from young kids that should have gotten manuals to a few old men that you'd not expect to see in one of these cars.

its amazing how many people wont tune these GM tcms due to thinking its too tough or you can cause more problems than you fix...I guess it helps that Johan bought a 2010 GM truck and spent a lot of time with the trans cal, probably not something you can figure out in a dyno session.

I got rid of the Trinity almost a year ago, when it kept giving me the errors. Went back to a Predator.

When the vehicle won't run on a stock tune, having a tool that you can't depend on just adds unneeded stress to a stressful world.

So....a few weeks ago one of our owners (who lives in MI) went and picked up a 2011 CTS-V sedan, stealth gray. Loves it.

I come in this morning to find the other owner (both of whom are named Mike) has pulled up in a 2011 CTS-V sedan, in pearl white.

To say we will be supporting these cars is an understatement, especially since I now have one in the office....

I just want the tranny tunes. I'm not allowed to beat on the car yet, so any motor gains would be lost on me. The tranny though, that I can mess with. The stock tune sucks balls in normal mode, and I'm not all that thrilled with Sport Mode either. And I HATE that it won't downshift itself in manual mode, that theres no rev matching and that it doesn't keep the converter locked. Its like impossible to be smooth with it. Fix those issues, you could charge a grand for it and I'd buy it.

The fix for that, in my time with these cars, it to drive it like you stole it, then the tranny acts perfectly proper
