Need help with my new Trinity

Hi,

I just buy my new Trinity for my car Lumina SS 2009 (L98 engine) V8 6.0 Auto Trans.

- i plug it into OBDII and Trinity turn on
- I try to found my can in the list but i didn't found it as the seller say it will work and confirm that he contact you and get the confirmation from your side.
- i select Pontiac G8 because its have same engine and Trans.
- after select "PERFORMANCE" the Trinity contact the PCM and after few seconds i receive error say something like "the calibration not completed or not supported" i didn't remember the correct error msg.
- now i receive check engine error and the car wont start also its give me message "safety mode"
- i clear all the check engine error by using Trinity and i was able to start the engine and working normal ( until now )

can anyone help me to make the Trinity working in my car? or can i use custom tuning and write it to my car PCM, or this also not possible if the Trinity not support my car.

I use latest Trinity software updated 1r08 with gm_can_gas 1r08e

i read that post and it was on 2009, so since that time until now (almost 2+ years) its not possible to unsupported this vehicle.

I was able to use the Trinity to record live date and to clear check engine error msg and read original PCM and backup it. so only the flashing + performance section is missing "60% of the Trinity working"

FYI: the first line in original PCM backup file is:
CRYGG106 ؛GM E38 UKNOWN CAR ,0,GM Predator,GM Predator vin 6G1EK54H09L158844,12624402,00000000

then all the details below this line encrypted (unreadable)

Hmm....this should work.

If it saved a copy of the stock tune, simply clear the codes or disconnect the battery to eliminate the no start condition.
Export a copy of the stock tune and post it here or email it to us and we'll add support for it in a new update.

I update it but under which car brand i can found it ? i didn't found Lumina under 2009 --> Chevrolet

Back again with some good news,
I choose Pontiac G8 2009 and Trinity was able to read and write DiabloSport tuning and its working but i have few points need clarification:
- Trinity unable to read the original tune first time and showing error 17- or 19- (i'm not sure 100%) then after click next the Trinity try 2nd time and able to read the original tune successfully. Is this normal?
- i receive many check engine error but i clear them all before install any tuning. Is this correct?
- i was able to install DiabloSport tuning without any check engine error and i feel the different in performance and transmission shifting and i made 4.9 sec in 0-60 with sport shift, so its safe to run the car with this tune?

Sounds good.

There may be some odd behavior as we have never had a Lumina SS here , but if the tune loaded and codes are not coming up, you are good to go, enjoy!

hello again,

everything working fine except the speed limit still active even after switch it off. also one day i restore back the factory tune and i feel the launch much much faster than diablo tune but with normal shifting. so is your updated tune are made specially for my car or its G8 parameter and by luck its working with me?
