9R29 Crom issues

Post by KaiserBill »

I'm a mod on 300C Forums.... I tried this new crom on my 2008 SRT8, which resulted in adding a second to the 0-60 times, and at WOT the engine / plugs feel like theyre switching on and off. Several members on our forum have experienced performance issues from this CROM - any ideas out there? I've gone back to 9R28

No clue, never seen such a thing.

If you have multiple members of your forum running into this, it would be advisable to let us know, otherwise it can't get fixed ;)

Hi Mikel,
My car is not doing the described above..but my car definetely feels a bit more doggish since this download. I had the 23B in mine last and overall it felt crisper to me. I know different cars take better to certain tunes but the general consensus on the forum seems to be most aren't in love with it.
Might be some psychological debate as to whether it's any worse than the previous ones..but ??
Any thought or explanation as to what may have members feelin this tune is more mellow feeling?
Thanks
Dylan

I've just removed it too.
Had a dyno day this weekend and out of all the Predator SRT8s, mine was the only on 9r29 and the only one down on power.
My graph was jagged too.
