i found another sympton that affects the trouble codes.. HEAT. ive noticed that when its cool in the mornings. BELOW 90 degrees F it runs fine. but in the afternoon when its above 95 degrees it want run 5 to 10 minutes with out going into limp mode due to High Rail fuel pressure. 0088 error code. it doesnt sound like a sensor problem to me anymore due to the sensor being under the valve cover and not affected by ambiant weather. could it be the fuel pump valves.

it has quit going to limp mode with the cool weather were having . but it's blowing lots of white smoke rite before it shifts gears. its an automatic. for instance im sitting at red light. i take off normal and just before it shifts gears (above 2000 RPM's) it starts missing and starts blowing white smoke. but it eventually clears up after about 5 -10 seconds and then runs fine. I'm confused now . and this is with no tune , only the dpf delete tune. would it help to put the orginal tune back in and then reload the PDF delete and preditor tune.
The problem is your HPFP. You need to take to dealer. Are you under a 100,000 miles then engine warranty will cover it. Do not allow 11b23 update to your pcm or your tuner and delete will not work again. You will have to sign a waiver that you do not want 11b23 update. White smoke is lack of fuel. My truck is doing the same thing yours is doing. Goes to dealership Saturday and is already scheduled for pump replacement It is a $2900.00 repair and warranty covers it.

Yep my truck is fixed, dealership fixed everything they found wrong with egine and covered under warranty. they replaced high pressure fuel pump, water pump and turbo down pipe. I got 18 mpg on the highway without diablo. So when I reinstall diablo I exspect mileage gains to be higher. Will keep you posted.

not so lucky, on my 350 not covered on warranty . so illl wait untill a bonus check comes my way and pay for the repairs then. untill then ill just keep reseting by cyclying the key. i can go one to two days with out going into limp mode. buy my PDF delete programmer is stackable. once the PDF program is installed i can then use the preditor to istall one of its tunes. I still dont understrand how blowing white smoke is too much gas, especially if the fuel pump is supposedly not supplying enough fuel.
