Confused over Octane on Predator

On my u7137 predator, the built in performance tunes have a 87,91,93. Here in Canada I've noticed at the pumps we have 87,89,91 octane. What does this mean to me ? Can I not experiment with the 93 tune without searching for special fuel, or can I use the 93 tune for our 91octane. The same goes for the 91 tune, can I use our 89 octane.

Nope, not with the Hemi. The Hemi likes to knock, so NEVER EVER use a tune designed for more octane then the gas you're using. Thats why they have 91 and 93 octane tunes. In some states Premium is 91 octane, while in others its 93 octane.

Here In Wisconsin I do have 93 octaine available and I have used the 93 octaine tune, but I went back to the 91 octaine tune due to the difference between the two is not that much and I felt the switch between 4 cyl deactivation back to full 8 cyl was not as an extreem hit. (06 Daytona) The 91 tune is great but a big help is to be sure your getting true cold air into the intake. I'm getting air from in front of the radiator and I went with a K&N filter.
