Post by Oldviolin »

I recently traded in my 2008 silverado, before i brought it in i took my u7194 out of the truck, i have a friend that wants to buy it from me for his 2007 Z71 new body, when you plug it in every thing comes on like normal until you select 87 tune then it comes up and sates, THIS TUNER IS NOT LICENSED FOR THIS VEHICLE... HELP please!!!

Did you restore your origional factory tune back into your truck? If you did not then the predator is locked to your old trucks VIN

it is still married, thus it was not set back it seems.

Go to options/show last tune written and tell us what it says there.

yeah, that's not correct.... heh...

you need to "restore original backup"...

go to options - troubleshooting - restore original backup

or if its a newer version 7194, go to performance tune - diablo tunes - original backup
