Lightning Came with a tune

Shortly after buying an 04 Lightning, I bought a Predator, but when I tried to put a tune on, it wouldn't because another tune was already on it. Everyone is saying that if I want to tune it, I need to have Ford flash it. Do I have any alternatives?

Did you check for a chip in the ecu? Might just be that, if it is you can just remove it and your pcm should hopefully be stock. Other than that i would recommend having ford flash it, no real other alternatives.

I had it flashed, but it still comes up with "vehicle already has a tune." Is the programmer bad?

No, again, it sounds like there is a chip installed.
Pull out the PCM and physically inspect it for a chip being installed.
If there is a chip, which I'm 99% sure there is, remove it and the Predator will work fine.
