Transfer my predator from dodge srt8 to mustang 4.6

Post by rodbil7 »

Hello guys I just got rid of my 2007 dodge charger Srt8 and I got a 2002 4.6 Mustang supercharged with a Paxton Novi 2000. How can I transfer my predator to flash the computer. Can it be used in my mustang? If not what can I do? I spent all this money for only one model vehicle? Please help.

you can't change a dodge predator into a ford predator...

you will have to buy the correct FORD model predator for the mustang....

and you can sell the dodge predator... IF you restored the original backup stock tune to the dodge first, to unlock/reset the predator... if you did not restore the original backup to the dodge, then that predator is still locked to it and it can't be used by anyone else...

Damn I spent over 400.00 and now I have to spend it again? No one is going to give me what I paid for that thing. I will never buy another diablosport if that is the case. I feel ripped off. I also did reset it back to stock settings. And predator is unlocked. Why would they make a machine fir only one vehicle use and charge so much money for something you can't transfer. Other products allows you to just download the different settings for your make and model. Wow very disappointed.

That just how it is. Theres only so much memory in it. Did any of the other parts you pulled off the SRT8 work on the Mustang? Of course not. Same thing here. Consider a tuner the same as headers. It works for what it was designed for and thats all. And headers cost 3 times as much! If you wanted a tuner that could work on multiple vehicles, you should have bought a Trinity.

I can see headers and stuff like that but basic program electronics is easy. It is also like Windows there are updates that are always making the product better bug fixes etc. I am an audio engineer and I am always downloading new updates on alot if my music programs for free and don't have to purchase another program, after the updates is installed it removes the old one to save disc space. This is an easy remedy in programing . It's just a way to get more money from us. I know with headers it's made for a specific vehicle but if Trinity can do it so can Diablo Sport. That is programming the basic program is already installed. It's the update. Would be nice if there was a way to erase the Srt8 program but keeping the registration key online like a membership when I log in to my music programs it shows the one I purchased and registered so if I ever want to reinstall the old I can always have acces to them. And pay a small fee for the Mustang upgrade!!! Not spend another 400.00 on another one. I just paid 79.00 to upgrade one of my music programs in which the first one cost 699.00. I am just saying. Doesn't mean I agree. It is what it is.

The Predators all have different hardware for each car. Its not just software. If it was then I'd agree with you. The Trinity and, I believe, the upcoming InTune, use the same hardware for all the different models.
