6.6 Sputtering and knocking

So I got the puck installed, but it's making horrible knocking sounds at 1/3 throttle. It's also bucking and sputtering at higher RPMs and WOT. Sometimes it smooths out and runs good, then acts up again.

It was so bad I thought I was going to break down on the way home.

DO you have the Red(extreme) or black (puck)

try to remove the selector switch and see if the problems go away. if they do there might be an issue with the tool. If they do not than please check your wiring as , When the selector switch is removed the device goes from a working controler to a pass through device. as a passthrough device the unit does not function and will internally reconnect the cables that it adapted to.

Try unplugging the power level knob from the harness and leave the puck there and see if the issues go away please.
