[Any Update] Autostick disable problems/errors!
G'day Diablo.
Running the 93 CAI Performance tune on an export 300C SRT8 in Australia. I have raised shift points and extended rev limiter (as per Diablo settings not modified user settings).
A problem I have encountered is the Autoshift diable/manual mode function. It does not work. The problems experienced are:
1. Changes like it is in D
2. Kicks down in autostick/manual mode whilst still showing the higher gear (for example in 4th, kicks down to 2nd but still shows 4th gear). I guess this isn't really a problem if the kick down in auto stick is resolved as it shouldn't kick down anyway.
3. When change through the gears manual it will show (on the dash/evic) 1-2-3-4-D.
So what do we need.
In autostick/manual mode:
1. Only upshift when the driver chooses to do so, including redline. Let it bounce of the rev limiter.
2. Eliminate the kick down in autostick/manual mode
3. Show the correct gear on the dash at the right time including 5th gear when in autostick/manual mode.
Please advise.
Other than that, what you have done is awesome and I thank you for it.

In rev 8r17, with the 07 SRTs, when the autostick is disabled it will not allow vehicle to shift past the commanded gear but it will, however, downshift to a lower gear and shift back up to the commanded gear based on acceleration. We mainly left it there for dyno use.
Also, we're looking into why it says D instead of 5.

This is not the case on 8r17 on my SRT8.
If I select autostick/manual mode and put the car in first gear it will change to 2nd, to 3rd to 4th all by iteself. This is when I am accelerating hard or just taking off slowly/normally.
If I am in 1st gear I would like it to stay in first gear no matter what. If I want to change to 2nd/3rd/4th I want it to be because I did so. As for the kick down in Autostick/Manual mode, it did not even do this from factory (on a standard tune).
It definietly should not kick down either and this makes dynoing a car very hard as it will keep kicking down.
A fix for this would be great as it does not work as it should and it is really the only flaw in this tuner.

Is yours an 07? If so the autostick disable will not work as they do in the 05-06's The TCM does not support it, blame DCX.
You could get an 06 tcm and put it in there and it will work again, i have guys who have done that with no issues.
But if yours is an 07 the autostick will not work properly, we left it in there mostly for dyno use, if you know how to modulate the throttle right you should have no issues with this.

Is there any chance of getting a fix on this. Please. I don't mind paying for an additional file to help sort this out. This was one of the features I was really looking forward to.
The selection of gears with the current setup is horrible. There is no autostick, just 2 Drives. Autostick doesn't even show 5 instead showing 4.
As for running up on the dyno, it cannot run up as we have previously done prior to tune. When trying to get a reading in first or second, if the gear is held for any amount of time it will select the next gear. If you power run a gear it will kick down to the previous gear and as you are aware this is not the best scenario.
What ever it takes guys please come through as even just leaving it enabled has messed it up. This has to work and can't put up with a 97% finished product and I am sure a company of your integrity would not want it left like this either (baits the hook
)

Another thing, and sorry to get on your case about it but how can you say blame DCX. I purchased a Diablo Predator, nothing from DCX (except of course the car). Havig a new TCM installed defeats the purpose of something like the unit you sold us. What do we tell the dealership when we ask them to star scan install an earlier model TCM into our car. I am certain there would also be compatibilty issues with running an earlier TCM on a late model car. Isn't that the reason why we are having the problem now???
Anyway that is my concern (as well as many others) with this part of the tool. Everything else works as promised so lets hopefully get this last bug out.

You do not seem to understand.
The 07 tcm has 16 different settings that contain the extra "cool" features like raised shifts, and the autostick functions.
I spent 2 days on the dyno trying every possible combination to make the autostick work like in the 06's, with no luck, so hence the conclusion that it is not supported by the 07 TCM, hence i say blame DCX as they removed that function.
There is nothing else we can do for that.
The dealer can not put a 06 tcm calid in the 07 tcm, one guy on the LX forum bought an 06 tcm and installed in his 07 and it all worked like it should with the 06 tcm in there.
I would recommend only using the autstick disable if you put your vehicle on the dyno to prevent it from upshifting from the commanded gear and put it back to stock for driving the vehicle on the street.

This is gettting frustrating. Please read what I am saying as we are going back and forth here and getting nowhere.

So if you put autostick upshift back to stock it still has issues 2,3 and 4???
