RE: Too lean, help!!
I looked in the book and online for updated instructions and there are none for modifying the MAF parameter. I turned it up by 7% and its not as bad as it was i can turn it up to 10% but i really dont want to kill my truck. I could really use some help.

Take the tornado out and get a refund. Placing anything in front of the maf will give you nothing but hair loss! Airflow over the maf needs to be straight, clean and free of any turbulence in order for the PCM to have a usable signal.TJF150 wrote:I looked in the book and online for updated instructions and there are none for modifying the MAF parameter. Should i leave the the MAF turned up for the CAI?
Re: RE: Re: RE: Too lean, help!!
Typically I've seen K&N's lean out most vehicles 5-10% so, yes I would leave it around +5% to be safe.TJF150 wrote:Should i leave the the MAF turned up for the CAI?

I took the Tornado out and now its fine. That thing is going back. I left it at +7% the K&N seemed to make a big difference so i'll probably leave it there. Thanks for the advice Kevin.
