beginner question

Post by nukka »

i bought a predator tuner for my mustang a couple years ago, and since then ive installed a K&N intake, bbk headers, and upgraded exhaust, and bigger rims. do i need to get a custom tune? or is the regular one fine?

you don't need a custom tune with your mods. A canned tune will be fine.

You can use the high octane tune. Not recommended, but you can SLIGHTLY tweak the tune--but possibly cause serious engine damage. You should be able to do some data logging with the predator , send it in to them they check out the log info and can create a custom tune for your application-this would be the recommended action.
