2008 chevy 1500 5.3

Post by 13luke »

i have a 2008 chevy 1500 5.3 with s&b air intake, gibson headers, gibson cat back exhaust. i just got the trinity and its set up on the diablo tune and im not too impressed with the performance.. not sure what to change what is dod? and should i change the wot settings? i would like a custom tune for 87 and 93 octane fuel that has firmer shifting and goes faster....

DOD is displacement on demand.. which is the same thing as active fuel management... where the ecm disables 4 cyl. and you only run on 4cyl....

don't just start changing stuff... get 100 miles put on the tune over a few days, then you need to do some data logging to see where your average long term fuel trims are at, and then go from there....

here's info about data logging:

diablosport does not do custom tuning... if you'd like a custom tune, you can check out http://www.diablewtune.com

I am a consultant for diablosport as one of my other jobs... and as another one of my jobs, I do custom tuning for diablosport products... ;)
