I have a 2010 V6 Challenger and have used the 93oct tune for some time. I recently had a state inspection and servicing so I unmarried before I brought it in.
When I got the car back and went to put the tune back on:
It married and backed up the stock tune fine.
When I installed the 93 oct tune it wrote it to 100%; then it went to the turn key off turn key on screen; then it went to an hour glass; flickered a few times and shut off.(screen blank)
I unplugged and plugged it back in. I checked the last tune written and it was blank but it still had my car info on it (married).
I tried writing the tune again (it remembered my mods) and it did the same thing except it went to the PCM written ok to unplug screen instead of going blank. I never got the checking tune % meter that I think use to happen after you install a tune.
I later checked the last tune written and it shows the 93oct mod tune and my car info. Car runs fine and I can definitely tell the tune is on.
Should I be worried that something in the computer got messed up or is everything fine??? I have used the predator for over 8 months and this is the first time I notice it acting "fishy".
If a writing of a tune gets interrupted, could it completely kill the computer and I need to bring it to the dealer to fix it or could I just restore the back up tune?

Hmmm, Not sure what to say about the flickering in the tool. So the last tune written shows 93 perf? With Dodge vehicles, we can always force a back up, so there is no need to go to a dealer. Just keep an eye out next time you change tunes and if anything happens give us a call.
