RE: Autostick
Apparently there is a program difference in the TCM on 05/06 LX's to that of the 07's. Why....who knows but I hope Diablo sort this out ASAP. Its terrible the way it is, its not right and not how the product nor a car like this should be left....unfinished.

RE: Autostick
By "disabling the autostick", are you saying that you want to bounce off the rev limiter when in Autostick, as opposed to it automatically upshifting? If so, there should be no reason why you can't disable the auto upshift by choosing the appropriate option in the Predator, assuming you do in fact have a 2006 SRT-8.
If by "disabling the autostick," you're referring to wanting the opposite; that is, you want it to automatically upshift in Autostick instead of it bouncing off the rev limiter, you will need to upgrade to the latest TCM firmware which is the "AK" flash. The AK is the part number suffix that represents the latest TCM firmware for the '06 SRT-8. You cannot do this with the Predator. You would need to take the car to the dealer to have the flash performed. The good news is there's a TSB on this and it's located here:
http://www.wkjeeps.com/misc/LX/TSB/TSB_2102006.pdf
Once you get the "AK" flash, you will be able to enable or disable the auto upshift depending on how you configure the Predator. Note: the "AK" flash is the only known TCM which supports both features.

Re: RE: Autostick
There is nothing for Diablo to sort out. All '05/'06 TCMs except for the "AK" flash support only the "paddle hold" feature. All '07 TCMs support only the "paddle kick" feature. The "AK" flash is the only TCM which supports both of these features. There is nothing for Diablo to work on or sort out.Jected wrote:Apparently there is a program difference in the TCM on 05/06 LX's to that of the 07's. I do have the TSB flash for the delay 1-2 shit at WOT
RE: Re: RE: Autostick
But are you the one having a problem? Or was your original post in reference to other 06 SRT-8 owners?SRT8GUY wrote:I do have the TSB flash for the delay 1-2 shit at WOT
If you have the TSB flash, there's no reason why the Autostick options in the Predator should not be working for you. Please clarify what exactly your problem is, assuming there is one.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Autostick
My '06 has the TCM update for "AutoUpShift" (Paddle Kick?) in AutoStick.
With my Predator I can freely switch between "Paddle Hold" or "Paddle Kick". I am on version 16a, next I am going to try it with version 17.
I am happy to have this working, however depressed because we were told that we would be able to adjust shift points.... of course we were also told we would have torque management adjustments.
The raised shift points are nice but they should be adjustable. Diablo stated they could not adjust shift points.....but then how did they do the "Raised" shift points?????
