U7193 - Update/Upgrade?

Okay, I just purchased a U7193. It is HW 1.01, SW 2.04. My vehicle is a 2004 Silverado 1500 5.3 Auto.

I am wondering if there is any benefit to sending my programmer in to be updated? I know I would have to pay to have it updated as I am not the original purchaser.

I was also wondering of the upgrade possibilities? Maybe to a unit that can do logging?

If the tool is working fine right now, you should not need the update.
We do hope to offer an update to allow these tools to log in the future.
