Diablosport tune vs. HP Tuner
Diablosport tune vs. HP Tuner
I have the 455 bobcat tune in my car. My mods are K&N CAI, Kooks l/t, 160 degree thermostat, corsa x-pipe, slp loudmouth 2 mufflers and of course the tuner. I have a 2006 Pontiac GTO A4 by the way. My friend has a 2005 GTO A4 also. His mods are just K&N CAI, magnaflow exhaust, and i think a HP Tuner(hes not sure but it was tuned while driven). The problem I have is that when we race head to head, we are even. Whats that all about? I should walk him, but we are even. I like the diablosport, but if that happens to me with a HP tuner, then i think i will switch to that.
Have you done datalogging with your Predator to find out what your LTFT's and AFR are?
I have an 07 Corvette that I bought an SLP Predator for. I loaded the 435 Tune and didn't notice much difference. I then did some datalogging and found out that it was way rich and needed some tweaking.
If you haven't done that, post something on GM Gas forum and see if you can get some assistance from 06MonteSS.
I'm not sure that will help, but its worth a try.

Well, the SLP 455 tune is designed for use with longtube headers, and I do not see those listed in your mods.
Check this out if you question the power of the 455 tune in the right application:

I would think you may need to try the 421 tune in your case.
Thanks

LOL, didn't see that.
Only other issue would be knock.
Have you monitored for knock retard?
Are you using quality 93 octane fuel?
