Shifting problems
I've updated the programmer with the latest release. About every 5-10th or so time I start my car it starts off in 2nd or 3rd gear and when I switch it to autostick, it won't go (the 1,2,3...doesn't appear on the evic). I shut off the car, reprogram the trans settings and its fine for a while. Then it will go back to no autostick and start off in 2nd...
2006 300C SRT8. Bone stock. 91 perf tune, stock upshift, raise shift points, ESP disabled. I've switched around the upshift and the shift points-no difference.

Set at 91 CAI (06 R/T) I still have a bog below 3000.
Autostick holds the highest gear it was in, but shifts like in drive until it hits that gear, then holds it to the shift parameter set.
Throttle response is much better, MPG down about 1 MPG.
Partial throttle much more aggressive.
WOT still bogs to 3000 RPM.
Autostick holds the highest gear it was in on the display, but starts in first and shifts like D, until hitting the gear displayed, then goes to shift point for that gear before shifting.

Do you have any kind of aftermarket electronics in this car?topfuel67 wrote:8t16a. Today it even threw an 0700 error code (transmission MIL request error). Plugged in the programmer, cleared code, reset trans options and its fine...for a while.
Maybe like an ESP disable system?
Thanks

Tonight merging onto the freeway it shifted into 5th from the start and wouldn't accelate. I had to pull off the freeway and shut the car off and restart. Please help with this problem![/code]mikel wrote:Do you have any kind of aftermarket electronics in this car?topfuel67 wrote:8t16a. Your problem is that you're using the Predator to disable ESP. When you do this, you're also disabling the anti-lock brake system, including the yaw sensors. When you turn the steering wheel more than a certain number of degrees with the yaw sensors disabled, the ECM (or TCM) goes into limp mode and you're stuck in only one gear with no way to upshift or downshift until you clear the code or restart the engine.topfuel67 wrote:Hi,
Still need help with this. 3 times now pulling onto the freeway I have not been able to get up to freeway speeds. Its like the car slips in gear. I shut it off and its back to normal. Its not good having to pull over on the side of the freeway and restart IN LOS ANGELES!!!!
I recommend you use the button on your dash to disable ESP instead of using the Predator for this.
Diablosport should really warn users that the "disable ESP" feature in the Predator disables a lot more than just the ESP and should only be used at the dragstrip.
Hope this helps.
The esp disabled through the diablo is so much better though. Thanks for the tip, since DS hasn't answered.10SecS4 wrote:Your problem is that you're using the Predator to disable ESP.
