In Tung LOG file Date stamping

Post by LGSONE »

Been running my logs and doing my tweaking and this little device is great. I was wondering if future upgrades to the InTune could inclued time and date stamps to the log file names.. I didn't know if time and date stamps could be read from the ECM, I don't know why your car would care what the date was and if the info is even present in the protocol. AND I know the Intune is only powered via the OBDII port or USB and I doubt it has any battery to keep the date. I could just not cut the logs out of the folder they are created in and let it just number them but I thought I'd ask to see if it is possible for this to be added, just takes the guess work out of things. Could just be how it is but you don't know if you don't ask... Mike Levy.... mikel... ideas, thoughts...

You already seem to know the answer to this question. The inTune, Predator and Trinity all work the same in that they have no concept of date or time. A nice upgrade for the future would be to allow you to enter a file name when saving the log, much like the Trinity does.
The apostrophe does not mean "Look out, here comes an S"!

"I couldn't care less" means it is impossible to care less - "I could care less" just makes you look stupid.
