trany shifting hard need help

hi i just installed my new diablosport predator u7194 into my 2011 chevy silverado nd i notice that wen ever i would get on it.... the trany would shift really hard for 1st nd 2ed gears..... is that bad for the trany or how could i fix it....

I would put the car back to stock first. Then see if the tranny feels or shifts different. From what i know the diablo tune it should not affect the transmission shifting. If the tranny shifts the same after you reinstall the factory back up then i would say it is just a strange coincident

yeah, I know what the issue is... and it can only be fixed by getting a custom tune created... you need to post up here your original backup and last tune written tune files and it can be fixed for you...

The shifts ARE firmer with the canned tunes, but it should not "bang".

i have same concern-- normal to mild accel to 4k is great compared to factory but harder accel when 1-2 shift is 5 -6k there is a delay hesitatation about 2-3 second then a hard shift to 2nd. reinstalled factory backup and there are no shift concerns whatso ever -mild or hard acceleration. besides fuel trims what can be done on the predator- mine is updated to current croms . just installed mpg program with dod turned off. would the pe wot settings help and what would you adjust each of the 3 rpm ranges to....2010 silverado z71 4wd 6spd 5.3 vin 3 motor

I had the same problem with my 2010 Sierra. Lew fixed the issue when I got my custom tune.

yep... if you don't like it that way, the only way to fix it is to get a custom tune created for the vehicle....
