still bouncing off rev limit

i had this issue before. when i floor it and she car shifts down into 2nd gear, it bounces of the rev limitor. i reinstalled the factory program, then installed just the performance program and nothng else and it still does it. i guess i should reinstall the factoy tune and see if it does it. anybody else have this problem. the car is in D when this happens, not auto stick. thanks to all

Have you tried raising the rev limiter by 2-300 rpms yet?
If not, please do so.

I have this issue as well, been to the dealer and had them check everything out... Couldnt find codes, or repeat the issue (I put the stock tune back in). Whenever I am stock, I do not have an issue. I raised my limiter by 300 and used raised shift points, still does it. Stock tune in, no issues @ all. (My SRT8 is an 07)
